Nothing matters more to us than safety.

It is our most important business practice and we demand visible leadership at every stage of a project and from everyone involved.

Our custom built ‘Right 1st Time’ behavioural safety program is dedicated to empowering our people to stop and think about what they are doing, even if they have completed a task hundreds of times before. Simply put, we speak up and learn from each other – constantly.

‘Right 1st Time’ is supported by an experienced and qualified team of Health & Safety professionals. It means:

  • Our people go home safe. Every day.
  • Each of us takes responsibility for our own safety as well as the people we work around.
  • We speak up when we see anything that appears to be unsafe.

Our triple certified integrated management system has been proven over thousands of projects in high risk environments, allowing us to continuously improve our practices and to build upon our reputation as best-in-class:

Our goal is to find and keep customers forever. It is our customers who define what good quality looks like and we must always meet or their specified quality standards. It is only by consistently keeping our customers satisfied that we will keep them forever. As a result, we will:

  • Maintain an Integrated Management System which meets the requirements of AS/NZS ISO9001.
  • Constantly challenge our system for better ways of doing things.
  • Apply our philosophy of ‘Right 1st Time’, but when we don’t get it right we will learn from our mistakes.
  • Set objectives and targets to measure and improve our performance.
  • Ask our customers how we are doing and act on their advice.

The safety of our people, the people who work on site with us and the community in which we work is our number one priority. No task is so important that risk of injury to people is justified.

Through uncompromising leadership, certified management systems, behaviour and cultural reinforcement, and a commitment to continuous improvement we will:

  • Comply with the Legislative Safety Act, Regulations and Codes of Practice with the appropriate State or Territory where we work.
  • Prepare and use a project Health & Safety Plan for all work we undertake.
  • Always place health and safety as the primary consideration in our decision-making.
  • Never put ourselves or others at risk or by inaction, leave our self or another at risk.
  • Never punish anyone for bringing a risk to the attention of management or others.
  • Train everyone in safety awareness.
  • Investigate every incident and change our practices based on the outcomes of the investigation.
  • Develop a long term improvement plan and measure our performance and progress.
  • Annually review our Health & Safety Policy.

We want to minimise our impact on the environment wherever we work.

Our aim is to take active steps to reduce our energy use or consumption, reduce waste, recycle everything we can, and to be rigorous in the safe disposal of any residual contaminants in strict compliance with our regulatory obligations or legislative requirements. As a result, we will:

  • Maintain an Integrated Management System which meets the requirements of AS/NZS ISO14001.
  • Constantly challenge our system for better ways of doing things.
  • Apply our philosophy of ‘Right 1st Time’, but when we don’t get it right we will learn from our mistakes.
  • Set objectives and targets to measure and improve our performance.
  • Strive to exceed all relevant legislative and regulatory standards in preventing pollution, reducing waste, and recovering or recycling materials.
