Job Description

As a Quality, Safety & Environmental (QSE/HSE) Advisor with our South Australian division, you will oversee the health, safety, and environment program for our blue-chip projects with Tier One clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and promote the Delta QSE Management System, fostering a proactive safety culture
  • Report and advise on health, safety, and environmental matters
  • Maintain and develop our Integrated Management System
  • Collaborate with employees to provide practical support and advice
  • Coordinate and facilitate external audits (ISO, OFSC, NHVR, Client)
  • Manage and report on events
  • Develop and implement project-specific QSE documentation

To succeed in this role you will have a range of skills and attributes, including:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Cert IV WHS or WHS Diploma (desirable)
  • ICAM training (desirable)
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification
  • Knowledge of construction workplace practices and the resources sector
  • High-level computer skills and systems-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels
  • Ability to prioritize and make decisions independently
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about safety
