The Australian Government Department of Defence engaged Delta Group to carry out civil works for the construction of more than 70 new houses for Defence Force personnel stationed in South Australia.

Our scope of works included:

  • Residential housing subdivision of 70 residential lots and detention basins
  • Bulk earthworks – Deep excavation and dewatering
  • Various service installations including sewer, water, stormwater, and common service trenching
  • High voltage electrical
  • Pavement construction, line marking and signage
  • Retaining wall construction
  • Existing underground services, and uncontrolled material requiring extensive site remediation
  • Deep excavations and dewatering included shoring systems for the installation of sewer infrastructure
  • Live connections of water and sewer into existing trunk infrastructure
  • Horizontal directional drilling for electrical installation under existing roads to minimise construction impacts to the community
